William Daugherty first visited the Upper Valley in the early 1990’s and has lived here since 2003. His interest in radio-controlled (R/C) vehicles, photography, and video began as a young adult and has culminated in what you see in these pages.
Scenes from Windsor, VT, White River Junction, VT, and West Lebanon, NH. NOTE: All this footage was flown under an FAA waiver permitting operations over unprotected people and moving vehicles. Also, FAA airspace approval was obtained for the northern two locations. Please know, understand, and follow all rules for drone operations!
The sunset evolution started with the rare “orange mountain” and got wilder from there. Damn!
The reds are mostly gone but still a lot of gold foliage, and the skies are that hard blue we get with cold, dry air and low sun angles.
