The Terrorbite haunted house ended ten years ago, but we still have a wonderful time celebrating the holiday with trick-or-treaters. The “living room on the lawn” is way less work than the haunted house. I realized last night more than ever how much trick or treating is a celebration of kids. I know they focus on candy but it’s a clever trick to get them dressed up and engaged with lots of different people, all under the proud and watchful eyes of their parents. So much fun! And of course, Jim and Donna treat me like royalty. It’s just wonderful to be with them!
So here are the images I shot, in essentially chronological order. First we tested cameras and figured out sight lines, then we got some friends and family shots, and of course a sunset drone shot!
Then it was time for the main event: trick-or-treaters! These are not in strict chronological order, but these were visitors between 6-8pm.
Then after giving out an obscenely large amount of candy, we had to bid everyone a fond farewell until next year. We then settled in to enjoy the unseasonably warm evening. And of course, we finished off with…you guessed it…nighttime drone shots!
Thinks to Jim and Donna for being such gracious hosts and all-around wonderful people!
