With the cloud cover moving out just before sunset, there was a lot of unusual color, mostly away from the sun.

The video includes a timelapse of an inflation, and a very short clip of the first launch of the festival. And looking at the stills, I think you will agree that Quechee was looking quite fetching in general!

No luck with balloon launches, but it was still a nice evening to be at the festival. You can see the wind in the trees at the bottom of the video.
