The infamous Crosley Tower at the University of Cincinnati (my alma mater) is finally coming down, piece by piece. The second largest continuous-pour concrete structure in the US (behind the Hoover Dam) was too close to a major road to implode, so they have to cut and hoist segments. Amazing really. Even though this is a relatively small project, it amazes me how many things have to happen in order to effect the wonder that is a road bridge. NOTE: due to proximity to the airport, I could only fly 50′ AGL, hence no high shots.
