After a respite overnight, the wildfire smoke returned with a vengeance. Plainfield, New Hampshire 7/16/26
This afternoon, the smoke layer was clearly visible, making for some strange images. The smoke, the small but dense clouds, and that stubborn sun created quite the spectacle I think.

Jim Daigle’s garden tour – Plainfield, New Hampshire 7/14/26
OK, this is a little different. I went to visit Jim yesterday and before I knew it, we were filming a full-blown tour of his extensive gardens. My intention was to try out some gimbal footage but once he got going, there was no stopping him! This video is nearly 47 minutes long and includes subsequent interview footage, but if you are like me, it’s hard to stop watching!

This is Hank’s second year holding this event on July 4th that is open to the public. My last photos were more of a macro view whereas these focus on the micro. I could look at these all day. Actually, I have been! 😉

Fourth of July Parade! Plainfield, New Hampshire 7/4/26
What an incredible turnout! I’m very grateful to everyone that worked so hard to make this year’s parade (and all the associated events) so very special. Here are quite a few aerial photos and one 15-minute video that show our greatest resource: our townspeople! Also, thanks to everyone that stopped by for a few kind words. It’s always a joy to hear in-person what my work means to people. It is truly humbling.
