There’s a change in the air! Plainfield, New Hampshire 9/25/26
Autumn, for me is the beginning of cozy time. Nature is giving us a show before it settles into quietness. the pastel colors of spring with tenderness/fragility, followed by the explosion of growth and more monotone green of summer gives way to the brightness of fall. at least in our part of the world. It is a familiar cycle for us here. The geese have been honking and gathering to visit further south and daylight is waning but the lights in houses and bonfires help us to welcome winter or endure it for some. But this comes from an ideal world I live in because I have a home that keeps me comfortable emotionally and physically. I wish that all could feel that sense of safety and awe.
