Proximity to the airport makes this a highly restricted area (50′ AGL), but I figured it was worth a shot. The man-made stuff is OK from this perspective, but the river sure is pretty.

Someone suggested a Plainfield-specific calendar yesterday. Hmm.
It has begun! Work has commenced on the 2026 Drone Art Calendars. This year we will have the Classic edition (each shot from it’s respective month over the past year), the Fall edition, and one or two more special editions based on customer feedback. We are considering a SkyScapes edition (sunrise/sunset/clouds), and possibly an Abstract edition (unusual/ethereal). They should be available mid-November. Reserve yours today! I’ve never seen this amount of ice in the Connecticut River at the Cornish-Windsor Covered Bridge. It was dramatic.
This video makes extensive use of time compression. What do you think?
Due to their late start and my illness, I didn’t really get much of the event. At least I got some nice shots of the hill and Lebanon. The video captures some of the jumps, but it is quite brief.
