The rain was bearing down from the northwest (first image) but I noticed a golden light coming from the south, so I had risk a flight. I’m glad I did!

Cresting the hill on RT 12 south just above Plainfield village is one of my favorite views of MT Ascutney.
Clyde it is indeed a magical spot!
